Obituary of Marjorie Flick, 74

Marjorie Jane Flick, 74, of rural Julian passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family.. She was born July 30, 1937 in Snow Shoe, the daughter of the late James Phillips and Sarah Jane Wenrick Shaw. On November 5, 1960 in Winchester, Virginia she married Edward Earl Flick, Sr. who survives at home. She was a member of the Berean Bible Fellowship Church. Jane was a 1955 graduate of the Snow Shoe High School. She was the Assistant Manager at the Grill and later a cashier at K-Mart in State College. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends. Jane is also survived by five daughters; Teri J. (Joey) Mantle of Blanchard, Carol L. (Jim) Perryman of Unionville, Sarah M. (Eric) Brooks of Centre Hall, Marjorie J. (John) McCaslin of Julian, and Debra S. Poole of Unionville; two sons, Edward E. (Marie) Flick, Jr. of Centre Hall and George A. (Cathy) Flick of Julian; two brothers, James L. (Nancy) Shaw of Milesburg and McClelland W. (Doris) Shaw of Snow Shoe. and a sister-in-law, Grace B. Hall of Julian and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Carl James Flick, December 31, 1972. Funeral Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg, Pa. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jack S. Palmer and Rev. Michael Covalt officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 7 – 9 PM. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Twp, Centre Co., Pa.
