Mary L. Dubbs, 93, of Morrisdale, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
She was born in Benner Twp., Centre Co., Oct. 30, 1917, the daughter of the late Harvey and Ruth Belle Fogleman Walker. She married Theodore R. Dubbs on Nov. 15, 1934, he preceded her in death Sept. 27, 1991.
She was employed at Wingate Elementary School in the Cafeteria. She was a member of New Life Center in Philipsburg. Mary enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and camping.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara E. Wellar, of Morrisdale, and Kathy R. Dubbs, of Azalea, Ore.; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Eloise B. Shawley and Janet Casey; one son, Conrad Dubbs; two granddaughters, Paula L. Wellar and Shirley Vipperman; two brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Dill officiating. Friends will be received Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, Union Twp., Centre Co., Pa.
