Michael R. Kolivoski, 77, of Clarence, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, in Wilkinsburg. He was born Dec. 19, 1932, in Karthaus, a son to the late Michael R. and Mary Benson Kolivoski. He married Eva M. Yosefik Kolivoski on Aug. 25, 1957, she survives at home.

He was employed at Piper in Quehanna and also at Cerro. He served with the US Army in the Korean War. He was of the Lutheran Faith. He belonged to the Clarence American Legion.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Patrick M. Kolivoski, of Lemont; six sisters, Ann McGonigal, of Pine City, N.Y., Patricia Turik and her husband Dave. of Drifting, Mary Bartlett, of Lowman, N.Y., Helen Mitchell and her husband Fred, of Lowman, N.Y., Margaret Heffernan, of Karthaus, Ameilia Reiter and her husband Robert, of Clearfield; one brother James Kolivoski and his wife Elaine of Frenchville, Pa. Along with his parents his was preceded in death by three sisters, Alma Mock, Ivy Whener and Linda Brannon; and three brothers, Robert Kolivoski, George Kolivoski, and Harry Kolivoski.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, February 11, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. Services will be Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at 10 a.m., at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, with Rev. Carrie Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Centre Co. Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co., where Military Honors will be accorded.
