Obituary of Mildred A. Conklin , 94

Mildred A Conklin, 94 years old, lived 64 years at 4071 Nittany Valley Dr. Howard PA. Passed away Sunday May 22, 2011, at 6:30 a.m. (Mid) was born Jan 20th, 1917, at State College a daughter of the late Roy and Roxanna Brobeck. She lived in Center County all her life, except for the last year, when she has lived with her daughter Lila and her husband Bill Kuntz in Kennett Square Pa. She was employed at and retired from Penn State University. She is survived by daughter Lila kuntz and husband Bill; one son Robert L Conklin and his wife Sam, as well as 6 grand children, 10 great grand children and 1 great, great grand child, also a sister Loretta Lucas of Bellefonte. Mid was preceded in death by daughters Janice M. Hoover and Loretta Conklin; a sister Elizabeth Young and a brother Earl Brobeck. In her younger years she could be found working, taking care of her yard, or drinking Pepsi while out dancing. Most of her last years she could be found bending over weeding, or mowing the yard, her pride and glory. Family and Friends will be received from Noon to 1:30 p. m. Thursday, May 26, 2011; at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Center Hall PA. The funeral will follow immediately at 1:30 p. m after which, with all our love she will be laid to rest at Zion Cemetery.
