Nancy Ellen Betz, of Bellefonte formerly of Howard, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. She was born on July 24, 1937 in Altoona, Pa. the daughter of the late M. Harold & Ruth Lucas Betz.
She was a elementary teacher in Bellefonte.
She is survived by one brother; M. Austin Betz of Tempe, Az. She was preceded in death by a sister; Sarah Alice Betz.
Funeral service will be Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street Howard with the Pastor Greg Shipe and Aaron Hoffman officiating. There will be a 1 hour visitation prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Schencks Cemetery in Howard Twp.
