Nicolas Paul “Nick” Castellano, 17, died June 19, 2015 at Hershey Medical Center as a result of a car accident.
He was born January 7, 1998 in Fair Oaks, VA a son of Anthony Robert and Michele Lee (Houser) Castellano, who survive in Centre Hall.
Nick would have been a senior at Penns Valley High School, where he was active in their musical crew. He also attended CPI where he was enrolled in the Collision Repair Program. He attended Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall. Nick worked at the Woodward Camp and at the Whistle Stop Restaurant. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and skateboarding. He also showed and ran coon hounds.
Nick had a passion for music and life. He was a terrific son and brother and an amazing friend.
In addition to his parents Nick is survived by his three sisters, Mikayla, Sierra and Victoria all at home; paternal grandparents, Gerry and Barry Weaver of Centre Hall and Ronald C. Castellano of Brockport, NY; maternal grandparents, Paul and Louise Houser of Centre Hall; and a great aunt, Leona Lightner of State College. He is also survived by many loved ones – aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 24, 2015, from 6:30 PM until a celebration of his life at 8 PM, and Thursday, June 25, from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM at the CPI School, 540 N. Harrison Road, Pleasant Gap. The Reverend Mark Messner will officiate.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
