Obituary of Patricia Fiedler, 74

Patricia V. Fiedler, 74, of Bellefonte, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. A daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Keller) VonGunden, she was born on December 16, 1937, in Bellefonte. On June 24, 1955 she married Kenneth Fiedler, who survives at home.
She was a 1955 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and had worked for Mid State Bank as a Teller. Patricia was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bellefonte. She was a member of the Red Hats, the Bellefonte Women’s Club and former member of the Jaycee-ettes. Patricia volunteered her services at the Oaks in Pleasant Gap and volunteered at St John Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, shopping and going out to dinner. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and going to her grandchildren’s activities.
Along with her husband of 57 years, Pat is survived by her three daughters; Kimber-Leigh Love (Kevin) of Palmyra, Kathy Swearingen (William) of Pleasant Gap and
Melissa McAneny (Frank) of Dillsburg. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Tyler and Zachary Love, Elise and Matthew McAneny and Mackenzie Swearingen; and two brothers; Kenneth and Gary VonGunden both of State College.
A public visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 6-8 pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte PA and Thursday, June 28, 2012, from 11 am till 12 noon, at St John Lutheran Church, 216 McAllister St., Bellefonte PA. Funeral services will be Thursday, at the church, at noon, with Pastor Leroy Reitz officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
