Richard W. "Lefty" Noll, 71, of Milesburg, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at his home.

Born June 21, 1939, in Boggs Township, he was a son of the late Fred and Alda Bair Noll. In 1958 he was married to Sulane Fryer, who preceded him in death on April 2, 1998. He was a graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School Class of 1957, and then attended the Stephens Trade School. He was an inspector at Cerro Copper and Brass in Bellefonte, retiring in 2001 after working there for 43 years. He was of the Protestant Faith. He was a member of the Mosquito Creek Sportsman Club and the Cove Hunting Club.

Lefty is survived by six daughters, Kimberly Hoy, of Petersburg, Kelly Noll at home, Tracy Noll, of Seattle, Wash., Amy Longenecker, of Frenchville, Stefanie Guenot, of Pine Glen, Erin Murnyak, of Clarence; one son, Michael Noll, of Snow Shoe; sixteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers; Paul Noll, of Myrtle Beach, George "Whitey" Noll, of Bellefonte, Philip Noll, of Greensburg, William Noll, of Milesburg, and Frank Noll, of Wingate. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Baney.

A graveside service with burial will be held Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Centre County Memorial Park, with Pastor Kenneth Leonard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service Inc., Bellefonte.
