Robert L.”Bob” Dorman, 58, of Howard, died Sunday, November 9, 2014, at his residence. Born June 5, 1956, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late David E. and Dorothy J. Long Dorman and worked as an electrician for Bellefonte Borough.
Bob's greatest joy was his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed football, baseball, woodworking and camping. He was a member of Bellefonte Elks, and Bellefonte Loyal Order of Moose 206 and the Howard V.F.W. Bob was a member of Milesburg Baptist Church.
Bob is survived at home by his wife, the former Lori Weaver, whom he married May 11, 1984; two daughters, Sarah K. “Katie” (David) Cramer, of South Williamsport, and Emily R. (Gordon) Barrey, of Howard; a son, Joshua M. (Suzy) Stauffer, of McMurray; two brothers , Bud (Chris) Dorman of North Carolina and Terry (Judy) Dorman, of Milesburg; and five grandchildren, Bailey R. Decker, Chase S. Stauffer, Ian W. Barrey, Talen J. Stauffer, and Marina G. Barrey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack L. Dorman.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, Pa., with Pastor B. Jeffrey Trawinski officiating.
Family and Friends will be received Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in Schencks Cemetery, Howard Twp., Centre Co., Pa.
