Obituary of Robert J. Thomas, 83

Robert J. Thomas, 83, of Bellefonte, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at The Oaks in Pleasant Gap. Born on April 8, 1934, in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late William and Helen (Schultz) Thomas. He was married to Sara “Sue” Thomas who preceded him in death on September 20, 2017.

Bob was the owner operator of Thomas Texaco in State College and Thomas Dodge in Houtzdale. He was a graduate of Logan High School in Altoona.

He is survived by two sons; Jeffrey Thomas (Jill) of Julian, Gregory Thomas (Carol) of Port Matilda and two grandchildren; Hannah Thomas of Austin, Texas, and Nathanial R. Thomas of Milesburg, PA.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, William
“Billy” Thomas.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Centre County Memorial Park in State College.
