Robert E. “Bob” McCloskey, 65, of Moshannon, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Mount Nittany Medical Centre in State College. Born on January 13, 1952, in Bellefonte, he was the son of Freda E. Kline McCloskey of Snow Shoe and the late Glen L. McCloskey. On August 23, 2003, at 12 Point Camp, he married Nadine A. Worrall, who survives at home.

Bob was of the Methodist faith. He was 1970 graduate from Bald Eagle Area High School. Bob worked as a Welder for Piper Aircraft and then worked at CS Myers and Sons. He retired at the age of 62.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering around the house and camp. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family at camp. Years ago, he enjoyed playing pool and shooting darts. He was a member of the Clarence Moose Club 1565 and the Clarence American Legion Post 813.

Bob is survived his mother, wife, son; Nicholas A. McCloskey and his wife, Charity, of Clarence, three daughters; Christi D. Shaw and her husband, Brian, of Clarence, Nicole L. Resides and her companion, Keith Stevens, of Howard, and Natalie Smolko and her companion, Tina Gasper, of Snow Shoe, and by a stepson, Beau D. Martin and his wife Christy, of Snow Shoe.
Also, surviving Bob are his eight grandchildren to which he adored; Ian, Alyssa, Parker, Quentin, Haylee, Aiden, Zoey, and Dakota and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his father, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Glen “Junior” McCloskey and his sister, Wanda Chambers.

Visitation with family will be on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 1-2pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Shoe. Memorial service will be on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2pm at the funeral home with Christine Simcisko officiating. Burial will be private.

Family has asked that no flowers be sent, instead make donations to the Hunt of a Lifetime, 2 Sunflower Dr. Ephrata, PA 17522.
