Rosellen M. Sandquist, 88, of Phoenixville, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Centre Crest, in Bellefonte.
Born August 19, 1930, in Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jeanette Carlson Malta. On April 1, 1956, she married Richard A. Sandquist, who preceded her in death on February 6, 2015. They resided in the Malvern, Phoenixville area for the past forty years.
She is survived by one sister, Onalee P. Williams and her husband, Robert “Bud”, of State College; nephews, Mark, David, and Patrick Gregor and Tim Bastian. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nina Bastian and a nephew, Christopher Bastian.
Rosellen was a 1948 graduate of Jamestown high School in Jamestown, NY. For many years she worked as a legal secretary for Attorney D. Lawrence Carlson.
She was a devoted volunteer at the Paoli Hospital, in Paoli.
Funeral service will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Chapel, Falconer, NY. The service time and date will be announced when arrangements are complete.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
