Ruth C. Glossner, 84, of Beech Creek, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Haven Skilled Rehab & Nursing Care Center in Lock Haven. Born on May 30, 1929, in Beech Creek, she was the daughter of the late James H. & Mina Martin Falls. On July 16, 1950, at the Blanchard Church of Christ, she married William G. “Bill” Glossner who survives at home.
Ruth attended the Beech Creek School. She was a homemaker. She was attending the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, tending to her flowers, and camping. She loved to cook for her family and friends.
Ruth is survived by her husband, one son, Ronald S. Glossner of Beech Creek, and one grandson, Thomas J. Glossner also of Beech Creek. Also surviving are her two brothers, James Falls of Shawsville, and Russell Falls of Avis, and three sisters; Edith Longo of Howard, Alice Ferguson of Mill Hall, and Blanch Dodds of Galveston, TX.
Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one brother, Harvey Falls, one sister, Betty Young, and her daughter in law, Debra Glossner.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 6-8pm at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St. Howard. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating. Burial will be in Schenck’s Cemetery, Howard Twp.
