Ruth H. Bechtol, 86 of Mill Hall, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Lock Haven Hospital. She was born on April 6, 1923 in Salon, a daughter of the late George and Myrtle Snook Alkey.
Ruth was employed with Champion Parts for 23 years. She was a life member of the Lock Haven Moose.
She is survived by a daughter; Judith A. Kramer of Mill Hall, 2 sons; Ronald and wife Anna and Thomas and Reta all of Lock Haven, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a great-great-grandson.
Services will be Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, Pa. with the Rev. Alan S. Eckenroad officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 1 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Zion Cemetery.
