Sharon E. Glossner, 65 of Mount Eagle passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. She was born on July 27, 1946 the daughter of the late Gordon and Alice Bottorf Linn. On January 6, 1967 she married Henry G. Glossner Jr., who died on February 13, 2009.
Sharon was a certified nursing assistant at Foxdale Village for many years. She was a member of the Curtin United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Women's Aglow. She also led worship and had previously taught Sunday School.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice M. (John) Crock, of Howard; three sons, Michael K. (Billie Joe), of Blanchard, Scott L. (Stephanie) of Howard, and Steven G. of Portlant, Ore.; and two brothers, Keith (Linda) Linn, of Lock Haven, and Kenneth (Judi) Linn, of Galena, Mo.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Mary Linn.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, Pa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the funeral home, with the Pastor Peter Dittman officiating. Burial will be in the Schencks Cemetery, Howard Twp.
