Sherman M. Kline, Jr., of Beech Creek, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Lock Haven on Feb. 27, 1954.
He was a 1972 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
He worked in the construction industry and was a Union Steward.
He was a member of the Sons of American Legion, Beech Creek; the Howard V.F.W.; and Sons of Italy, 40 et 8, and the Moose Club, all of Lock Haven. He was also a member of the Snow Shoe Democratic Club.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing and going to camp.
He is survived by a daughter, Dawn (Tommy) Allen of Port Ritchey, Fla.; a son, Mark Kline of Beech Creek; two sisters, Connie Miller and Marion (Douglas) Brush, all of Blanchard; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, June M. Bowers and a brother, Malcolm Leroy Irvin.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard, with Pastor Nathan Purdy officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
He will be buried in Liberty Cemetery, Blanchard, at the family's convenience.
