Terry Ann Harter, 46 of Howard, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. She was born on July 23, 1970 in Lock Haven, the daughter of Stephen R. and Ruth Geyer Grieb of Howard.
She married Timothy Harter on August 22, 1998, he survives at home.
Along with her husband and parents she is also survived by a daughter Ashley Nicole Harter and a son Jason A. Harter both of Howard, a mother-in-law Helen Harter of Zion, a sister Teresa (James) Houser of Spring Mills, two brothers Thomas (Lorie) Grieb of Lamar, Todd (Cathy) Grieb of Howard, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Her favorites were Grammy Bonnie and Uncle Stew.
She enjoyed family time with her brothers and sister and playing cards with her children and grammy Grieb. She enjoyed keeping her daughter involved in Special Olympics activities while her son is a big fisherman and hunter. She encouraged both children to do their best at whatever they chose to do. She also loved spendiing time with her friends.
She was a 1988 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She worked at the Lock Haven Express for many years, then the Tax Assessment Office at the Willowbank Building in Bellefonte, and also was a secretary for the Walker Twp.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 134 W. Bishop St., Bellefonte, Pa. with the Father George I Jakopac as Celebrant. Friends and family will be received from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard on Thursday, July 6, 2017 with a Christian Wake Service at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Zion Cemetery in Walker Twp.
