Tyger Lynn Daughenbaugh, 23 of Huntingdon, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at home. Born on May 5, 1988, in Danville, she was the daughter of Susan E. Rupert and the late Rodney J. Schindler.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather Susan and David L. Rupert of Huntingdon. She is also survived by her sisters Heather N. (Scott W.) Fravel of Bellefonte, Summer J. Daughenbaugh (Mark A. Bucci) of Pittsburgh, and brothers Gregory J. Daughenbaugh II of Pleasant Gap, Daryn L. (Jamie) Rupert of Huntingdon; maternal grandparents Helen T. Solt and the late Lee (Bud) Solt and paternal grandparents Rose Schindler and the late Richard Schindler; nephews Jason and Derek Fravel and nieces Mackenzie and Hailey Rupert as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that loved her dearly.

She was a 2006 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School. In 2009 she obtained National Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician from The Phlebotomy Institute of Central Pennsylvania.
She was a self-proclaimed "farm girlie" working at Wingert Dairy Farm in Huntingdon, PA. It was there that Tyger could surround herself with what she was most passionate about. She had the most caring heart when it came to animals, especially "her" calves which she fed and milked daily. Even before working at the dairy farm Tyger was always involved with caring for animals. She volunteered with Centre Wildlife Care in Port Matilda and was constantly exploring nature around her. Fearless of any animal large or small she spent much of her spare time exploring the outdoors and photographing nature and every animal that crossed her path. She spent a great deal of time with her three faithful German Shepherds, who were more than pets, they were best friends.

When she wasn't exploring the wilderness Tyger enjoyed art of all sorts. Her vast artistic skills included, but were not limited to her ability to paint, draw, photograph and even design her own tattoos which ranged from a large sleeve commemorating her father to the smallest 'inch worm' on her right index finger.
Some of her favorite things included: family dinners, the color pink, music, baking, cooking, scary movies, the beach, thunderstorms, and video games. She will be forever missed and loved by her entire family, friends and animals, especially her three German Shepherds.

Services will be held at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W Sycamore St., Snow Shoe PA. On Sunday, October 16, 2011 a visitation for family and friends will be from 1-2 pm followed by a memorial service from 2-3 pm. Contributions can be made to: Centre Wildlife Care, P.O.
