Virginia M. Stover, 92, of Bellefonte, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in College Township.
Born on Aug. 5, 1918, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Charles King and Myrtle Cox King. On June 9, 1938 she married Woodrow W. Stover who preceded her in death in 1978. Virginia was a lifetime member of the Coleville Wesleyan Church.
Virginia is survived by four daughters, Nellie Coble of Lakeland, Fla., Elaine Evans of San Diego, Calif., Paula Stover of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Rebecca Lawton, of Dallas, Texas; and one son, Timothy Stover, of Bellefonte. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and one sister, Esther Spotts, of Bush Hollow. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
There will be a public visitation held on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Coleville Wesleyan Church, 326 Lower Coleville Road, Bellefonte, with Reverend Ronald Kilgus officiating. Burial will follow in Meyer Cemetery, Benner Township.
