William C. “Bill” Confer Jr., 60 of Bellefonte, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 in Howard. He was born in Lock Haven on March 7, 1952, a son of the late William C. Sr., and Mary “Nell” Daughenbaugh Confer.
He married Sandy Hensal who survives at home.
Bill was a 1970 graduate of Bald Eagle High School and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University in 1974.
He was owner and operator of Confer Trucking of Howard where he had worked all of his life.
Bill was a member of the Howard United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one brother; Robert “Bob” and wife Deb Confer of Howard, niece; Stacy Confer, and one nephew; Robert L. Confer.
He was preceded in death by one brother; Tom Confer.
There will be a memorial service to be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard with the Father Charles Amershek officiating. There will be no viewing.
