William E. Reuscher June 1, 1932 – August 8, 2009 William E. Reuscher, 77, of State College, formerly of St. Mary's, passed away Sunday, Aug. 8, 2009, at Elk Haven Nursing Home.

He was born June 1, 1932, in St. Mary's, a son of the late Benedict and Edna Lanzel Reuscher. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1950, and a graduate of Gannon University, Class of 1954. He was a retired labor and human relations manager at the Keystone Powdered Metal Company.

On April 24, 1954, in Erie, he married Mary Louis Marconi, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Denise (Mrs. James) Kotsones, of Dexter, Mich., and Victoria (Mrs. Bill) Roche, of Mussola, Montana; six sons, Craig Reuscher, of Chicago, Michael Reuscher and his wife, Kathy, of St. Mary's, Paul Reuscher and his wife, Bonnie, of Rochester, N.Y., Steve Reuscher and his wife, Mary Ann, of Ridgway; Martin Reuscher and his wife, Lynn, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jeff Reuscher and his wife, Susan, of Camp Hill; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mary (Mrs. James) Mallison, of St., Mary's, Catherine Brennen, of St. Mary's, and Alicia (Mrs. Eugene) Gleixner, of Florida; and five brothers, Richard Reuscher and his wife, Mary Lou, of St. Mary's, Robert Reuscher and Ann, of St. Mary's, Conrad Reuscher and his wife, Donna, of St. Mary's, Tim Reuscher and his wife, Barbara, of St. Mary's, and Thomas Reuscher, of St. Mary's.

Mr. Reuscher was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in State College and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Army.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center St., St. Mary's. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, 2009, with the Rev. Eric Vogt OSB as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Full military rites will be accorded by the St. Mary's Servicemen.
