Randy S. Sprout, 61, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Born on May 25, 1960, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late William Sprout and Kathryn (Sharp) Sprout, who survives at home.
Randy was a 1978 graduate of Bellefonte High School. After school, he served in the United States Navy from 1978 until he was honorably discharged in 1984. He worked as a janitor at Penn State for many years until his retirement.
In addition to his mother, Kathryn, he is survived by one brother, Samuel Sprout, and nephew, Matthew Sprout, both of Bellefonte.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, William Sprout, Jr.
Randy loved riding his motorcycle with his brother and friends. They always looked forward to getting together and going for a ride when they had the time!
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 10-11am, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will begin at 11am, at the funeral home, with Rev. Andrew Morgan officiating. Burial will directly follow at Schencks Cemetery in Howard.
