Richard E. Henry, 71, of Snow Shoe, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Philipsburg. He was born on February 16, 1954, in Bellefonte, PA to the late Richard Sr. and Sally (Breon) Henry, who survives at home. On April 25, 1986, he married Barbara Leigey who passed away in 2003. He is survived by his beloved long-time girlfriend Diana Walker, at home.
Richard was employed at Penn State University until he retired. He served in the United States Army, he received the National Defense Service Medal.
In addition to his companion, he is survived by his children, Holly Rishel (Devin), Jamie Laird (Brandon), Jessica Howard and Jamaica Lamey (Christopher), his siblings, Carol Heverly (Pat), Melody Wright (Doug), Bob Henry, Jeff Henry, and Barry Henry. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
Along with his father and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Henry, and siblings, Todd Henry and Bonnie Henry.
Richard enjoyed camping, collecting antiques and Coca Cola memorabilia and spending time outdoors.
Services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc and Victorian Crematory.
