Rolinda F. Hanley passed away comfortably at her daughters home on Saturday, August 2, 2025. She was born in Lock Haven on April 28, 1941 to Roland W. and Winifred Harmon Frederick’s. She was a 1959 graduate of the former Lock Haven High School and graduated from Stephan’s College, Columbia Missouri, where she was a member of the Equestrian team.
Linda married Guy W. Hanley, January 30, 1971, he preceded her in death January 31, 2015. Together they had a life full of adventures and travel; enjoying each other’s company on cruises with friends and trips around the country and especially their yearly spring trips to Florida.
Linda was an avid horsewoman. She gave many riding lessons, enjoyed being a member of Susquehanna Whips and Wheels where she displayed her carriage driving skills in friendly competitions with her beloved horse Harry. Although Guy never really shared her equine enthusiasm, he certainly made it easy for her to do so.
Linda also enjoyed hunting with Guy and she was a great shot, displaying her trophy’s right alongside of Guys. She loved canning her home-grown vegetables and entering them in the Clinton County Fair.
Linda was a Proud member of the US Army Reserves; she retired from there with full retirement at the Rank of Sargent First Class. She was very proud of her and Guys military service and loved that they were in the same unit.
Linda spent most of her time on the Homestead Farm with her many Horses. She truly had a Blessed and Full life, full love and adventurer.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosalind (Jeff) Rebarchak of Mill Hall, and a daughter in-law Ev Hanley of Wyoming.
