Sandra (Sandy) L. Goss, 77 of Mingoville (formerly of Reedsville), passed away Monday morning, June 20, 2022, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.  Born February 25, 1945 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Lynnwood and Miriam (Heckman) Aumiller.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by all. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merril S. Goss whom she married on September 27, 1963. Sandy is survived by sons, S. Todd Goss and wife, Denise of Mifflintown and Corey L. Goss and companion, Nicole Sunday of Lewistown; grandchildren, Alisha Stoltzfus, Brooke Felmlee, Winston Goss, Blaze Goss, Paige Goss; and six great-grandchildren with 2 on the way.  She is also survived by siblings Delores (Stephanie) Aumiller of Mingoville, Harriet (Robert) Emel of Howard, Lynnwood Aumiller of Blackville South Carolina, and Amy (Gary) Powers of Bellefonte as well as many nieces and nephews. 

She was a graduate of Kishacoquillas High School, Class of 1963.

Sandy was a retired CNA from Juniper Village at Brookline Senior Living. In addition, she had a side cleaning business in which the clients made her feel like family.  Prior to that she worked as an assembly line worker for Fisher Electronics until it closed. She attended the Milroy White Memorial Church and was a member of the choir.  She enjoyed camping, quilting, reading books, and spending time with family.  Sandy also had a passion for music and enjoyed singing and dancing.  She loved her cat Raven.  She was known for her famous whoopie pies and her love of QVC.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 23, 2022 10:00AM – 11:00AM with a memorial service immediately following at 11:00AM at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801.
