Sarah M. Welch, 84, of Centre Hall, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Born on January 17, 1942, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Loretta (Meckley) Miller. She was married to her beloved husband, Boyd A. Welch, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2009, after sharing 47 years of marriage.
Sarah was a graduate of Lock Haven High School. She worked alongside her sister as a residential home cleaner for many years.
She is survived by her children, Tina Stover (Dan) of Centre Hall, and Kelly Richner of Howard, eight grandchildren: Daniel Pick (Cassy), Cole Hanley (Ashley), Mikala Hanley (Toby), Myles Stover, Lacey Mills, Dalton Richner, Tyler Welch (Courtney), and Dain Welch, and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Jay Welch and Tony Welch, and a grandson, David Pick.
Sarah actively attended Romola Bible Church in Howard until she moved and then became a member at Calvary Bible Church in Centre Hall. She was an avid Phillies fan. More than anything, she treasured the time that she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
