Stephanie A. Snyder-Josenhans

Stephanie A. Snyder-Josenhans, 48, of Muncy, Pa passed away at Geisinger Medical Center on Feb 14, 2021. She was born in Williamsport, Pa on Feb 28, 1972.

  Stephanie was the daughter of Lora Jane (Kirkner) Spencer and Steven E. Snyder. She graduated from Muncy High School, Class of 1990.

  Continuing her education at West Virginia University where she received a Bachelor Degree in education and a Master Degree in Biology. She worked as a summer intern at Montour Preserve, Wallops Island, Marine Science Camp, Maryland. She taught High School Biology in Frederick, MD, then moved on to teach at Hurlock High School, MD. In the summer there she worked for NASA on Wallops Island and also with scientists on the Chop Tank River.

  Stephanie over the years, had many opportunities to explore the world of Biology. She also was an Organ Donor.

  She met her future husband, Eric Josenhans, and then moved to Florida, residing there the last 14 years till his death in Sept 2020. She moved back to Muncy, Pa to restart her life.

  Surviving are her Mother, of Muncy, Father, of Williamsport and her adopted Step-Dad, Wilbur “Skip” Lose, who she was very fond of. Her dog Luna and very close friend, Jenna Bartlett, several Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.

  Services will be private with a memorial service to follow at a later date in the summer, to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be sent to the Lycoming Co. S.P.C.A. or a charity of one’s choice.

  Sometimes life is too short and we do not get a chance to say goodbye or to search onward in our life. May the road rise behind you, and you can Fly -Fly-Fly!
