Timothy D. Bryant, 76, of Bellefonte, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, February 7, 2025. Born July 8, 1948, in Bellevue, he was the son of the late Samuel and Betty (Wolcott) Bryant. On June 21, 1969, he married his beloved wife, Rosemary E. (Enslen) Bryant, who survives at home after sharing 55 years of marriage together.

Timothy was a 1967 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on Aviation from LeTourneau College in 1972. While finishing college, he enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, from February 1973 until he was honorably discharged in January 1980. During his time in the service, he was a captain on a C-141, and was awarded the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, the Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Combat Ready Medal.

He began flying in 1969, sharpening his skills to facilitate a career in aviation later in life. In 1980, he began working at National Car Wash Supply for his parents. After working there for a few years, the itch for flying overcame him and he started at Adelphia Cable as a pilot and remained there until 1993 when he took a pilot position with Shaner Hotel Group. He continued flying for Shaner until 2015, when he went to Abundance Wealth until his retirement in September 2024.

In addition to his wife, Rosemary, he is survived by their children, Lisa McCaslin (David) of Yatesboro, and Timothy P. Bryant (April) of Port Matilda; 12 grandchildren: Emily, Kaylee, Courtney, Candace, Cassandra, Cameron, Chelsea, Caleb, Charity, Colton, Christopher, and Cathryn; and four great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, David Bryant (Virginia) of Ocala, Florida.

Timothy was a member of the Holy Impact Ministries and lived his faith throughout his life. He loved to read his Bible and share the Word with family and friends. His passion for flying afforded him the long career that he had in the field; with his quick wit he could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He also worked as a flight instructor, and enjoyed riding unicycles, building experimental and ultralight planes over the years. More than anything, he loved to spend time with his family. He leaves behind countless memories that his loved ones will cherish for years to come.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Pastor Scott Velain officiating. Burial services with full military honors will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Timothy to the Holy Impact Ministries, PO Box 233, Carrollton, OH 44615.
