Parts of two State College streets will be closed and another will see lane closures for road work over the next few days.
Waupelani Drive will be closed between Oneida and South Atherton streets from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday while Ameron Construction excavates the road for paving of the Waupelani-Oneida intersection. The sidewalk also will be closed.
New Alley will be closed between Cresson Alley and South Burrowes Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for Alexander Building Construction to set up a crane.
From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, State College Public Works will be performing street maintenance crack sealing on University Drive between East Foster Avenue and Easterly Parkway. The work will require lane closures with shifting traffic patterns. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution when traveling near work areas.
