Scott’s Roasting Will Serve Up Pork Specialties Inside Beaver Stadium This Fall

A popular local food stand frequently found at festivals and events around central Pennsylvania is bringing its farm-fresh pork specialties to Beaver Stadium for the 2022 season.

Scott’s Roasting will be located on the ground floor inside the stadium near Gate C during Penn State football home games, according to a post on the business’ Facebook page on Saturday.

Because of space and equipment limitations, the menu will be limited, but will include pulled pork and whole hog loose sausage favorites that have customers lining up wherever they find family-owned, Bellefonte-based business.

The “farm-to-stadium” menu will include pulled pork with barbecue, cabbage slaw and horseradish sauce on an 8-inch roll or in a dish, as well as loaded pork nachos served on corn chips with barbecue, salsa, cheese, sour cream and jalapenos.

Hot or mild loose sausage offerings include subs and dishes with carmelized onions, bell peppers and cheese and loaded nachos.

Scott’s Roasting sources its pork from the family’s own Sylvan Acres Farm off of Jacksonville Road.

Fans will have their first chance to get Scott’s Roasting inside Beaver Stadium when the Penn State opens its home schedule next Saturday, Sept. 10 at noon against Ohio. The Nittany Lions won their season opener on the road at Purdue on Thursday night.
