2010 Wedding Showcase

The 2010 Wedding Showcase will take place Sunday, September 26th, 2010 at the Bryce Jordan Center. The Wedding Showcase will be sponsored by the Bryce Jordan Center, StateCollege.com, and Altoona.com. The show is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

Once again, brides will be able to register for the showcase online at WeddingPage.com. Brides who pre-register for the show will receive free admission to the showcase. There will be an admission fee for additional guests and brides who have not pre-registered for the showcase.

Last year, the showcase featured over 75 wedding vendors. Categories represented at the show included dress shops, disc jockeys, photographers, videographers, limousine services, jewelry, travel agents, cake bakers, hotels, caterers, florists, invitation shops, realtors, and insurance companies. Over 700 local and out-of-state brides registered for the first annual Wedding Showcase. The staff of the Bryce Jordan Center, StateCollege.com, and Altoona.com hope to surpass that number this year.

Last year, the event featured an hour-long bridal show, dance demonstrations, and wedding/reception seminars. Similar events are scheduled for this year’s show.

WeddingPage.com was the official website of the 2009 Wedding Showcase and will continue to be the official website of the 2010 Wedding Showcase. Besides online registration, the website will feature an interactive map of vendors participating in the showcase. The interactive map will be updated as new vendors are added. Clicking on a specific vendor will direct brides to that vendor’s website.

The website will be updated on a regular basis and will contain information regarding events at the showcases such as live seminars, fashion shows, etc. Wedding and reception related content and features will also be placed on the website and will remain on the website even after the showcase is over.

The 2010 Wedding Showcase will also have a Facebook & MySpace page.
