Ernestine M. "Teenie" Musser, 78, of Centre Crest, formerly of Coburn, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, with her family by her side.

Teenie, the daughter of the late Ernest and Isabell Smith Seachrist, was born in Derry Township, Mifflin County, on April 15, 1931. On Aug. 10, 1952, she married Glenn L. Musser. After 45 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on July 11, 1998.

Teenie is survived by two daughters, Jill Thomas and husband, Jeffrey, of Julian, and Lisa Dreibelbis and husband, Jeffrey, of Centre Hall; one son, G. Roger Musser and wife, Lynne, of Concord, N.C., five grandchildren, Travis, and Makayla, of Centre Hall, Glenn Robert, of Douglasville, Pa., Aaron, of Concord, N.C., and Hannah, of Julian; and one great-grandson, Trevor, of Spring Mills. Also surviving are three sisters, Nancy Seachrist, Linda Yetter and Carol Folk, all of Lewistown. In addition to her husband, Teenie was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Danny Seachrist.

Teenie was an active member of the St. James United Methodist Church in Coburn, where she held many positions over the years. She was also a member and past president of the East Penn's Valley Women's Club, the Black Panther Riding Club, the Spring Mills Grange, the Penn Township Civic Club and Young at Heart. Teenie was formerly employed at G.C. Murphy in Lewistown, Nittany Hosiery in Millheim, Millheim IGA, and Ream's Drive-In at Aaronsburg. She was manager of the kitchen at Woodward Camp before retiring after 18 years. Teenie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, collecting milk glass, quilting and camping at Grange Fair where she met Glenn. Most recently, after leaving her home of 55 years in Coburn, she moved to Centre Crest in Bellefonte.

Because of Teenie's wishes, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. A memorial service will follow immediately at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Cass Harbach and the Rev. Judith Hulslander officiating. Teenie will be laid to rest in Paradise Cemetery, Spring Mills, in a private service held at a later date. Memorial gifts in Teenie's memory may be given to the Centre Crest Auxillary, 502 E.
