Well that was something else. Penn State showed up, opened the game with a strong scoring drive, played pretty good defense and still managed to stumble its way to an overtime loss.

OK, so you’re waking up and you’re sad and/or unhappy. it’s hard to blame you, Penn State lost, didn’t look all that great in the process and you had to wait 300 days for a game that you would really like to forget.

Penn State will seemingly be without another running back for at least the immediate future following an injury to sophomore Noah Cain on Saturday.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Time of possession is a complicated stat. It doesn’t really matter how long you have the ball, it simply matters what you do with it. Good teams can score quick, good teams can score after long grinding drives. There’s no correct answer as long as you’re efficient.

All things considered an Indiana team that has steadily improved over the past few seasons and has historically played Penn State well at home, finally winning a game in the series is not all that shocking.
