STATE COLLEGE — The second Happy Valley Cornhole Tournament will take place on Sunday, April 5 at the American Legion’s Post 245 location at 1950 Pine Hall Road in State College, according to a press release. Proceeds will benefit the State College Sunrise Rotary Club’s efforts to volunteer and support the community.
“We’re excited about the support and enthusiasm that are already surrounding this event. Our hope is that the tournament can help us provide even more support to the local community, while giving participants an opportunity to have some fun and compete to be the cornhole champs of the region,” said Devin Mathias, Rotary’s event chair.
“Each day there is someone from the local Rotary clubs volunteering in our community to make it a better place to live, work and play. This is a chance for people to have fun while supporting our efforts.”
In addition to the double-elimination tournament, participants and attendees will be able to enjoy food, drink and entertainment at the American Legion. Sponsorships are still available and already include Restore Eye Care & Eye Gym and State College Orthodontics. Registration and sponsorship information can be found at: statecollegesunriserotary.org/cornhole or at the State College Sunrise Rotary Club’s Facebook page.
