Pleasant Gap man to hold launch party for 11th novel

PLEASANT GAP — Les Griffin is contracted to make a major contribution to society, but the cost is high — his family, his soul.

Griffin is the lead character in “Pinpoint Analysis,” the latest novel penned by Pleasant Gap’s Bill Kovacic.

“It was an enjoyable book to write,” said Kovacik. This is Kovacik’s 11^th self-published novel.

On May 20, beginning at 7 p.m. at the IOOF Building on Axeman Road, Pleasant Gap, a launch party for the book will be held and will include refreshments, free give-a-ways, a PowerPoint presentation on the many reasons to write and a book signing.

“It’s going to be nice and laid back,” said Kovacic. “I hope a lot of people come out and enjoy the evening.”

Kovacic said he normally writes fiction in the suspense genre, but also writes on theological topics.

According to Kovacic, “Pinpoint Analysis” follows Griffin, a marine biologist contracted by the United States Navy to find out why marine life off the coast of Miami, Fla. is being contaminated by radiation. From there, the books goes through several twists and turns as Griffin discovers the dark underworld beneath the Bermuda Triangle.

“This suspense-filled book will have you turning pages to find the answers,” said Kovacic.
