Take a Look Inside State College’s New Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings has officially opened its doors in downtown State College. The chain’s new location at 134 S. Garner St., which welcomed its first customers on Tuesday, March 25, brings a fresh but familiar gameday destination to the heart of town, just a short walk from the Penn State campus.

Boasting dozens of TVs, a full bar, and a menu stacked with wings and 26 sauces and rubs, the newest addition to the downtown food scene has been drawing crowds of students and residents since its opening.

With its prime location on the ground floor of The Maxxen, the new Buffalo Wild Wings aims to become a go-to spot for Penn State fans to gather, whether it’s for a Saturday football showdown or just a casual night out with friends.

As customers poured in for the grand opening, tables filled quickly, orders of wings and beer flowed steadily, and the unmistakable sound of sports commentary filled the air. Join us as we take you inside the new space in its first days in Happy Valley.

The patio has extensive seating for 46 when the weather gets warmer.

The restaurant is packed is packed with TVs, including a giant 14’x8’ digital screen, ideal for game days or just casual boneless wings and beers.

The bar is fully stocked with liquor and beer, with 30 brews on tap, including domestic, import and craft.

The bar features high ceilings to bring plenty of natural light in.

The bar’s memorabilia collection is extensive and gives plenty of places for the eyes to wander.

Buffalo Wild Wings is open 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Find menu and pickup ordering information here.
