A fashion showcase this weekend in downtown State College will feature artistic expressions and entrepreneurial efforts of student designers and performers.
The Entertainment Business Club at Penn State’s inaugural Fashion Showcase will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at The State Theatre, 130 W. College Ave.
A social hour will kick off the event from 5 to 6 p.m. with a live jazz band and catering provided by Dunkin’ Donuts and Tropical Smoothie.
The fashion show will hit the stage from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. as models sport designs from student-led brands such as Six Villa, J Dinallo, Elysium, Adri’s Creations, Jack’s Customs, Akhielo and Undrgrnd Collective.
After the show, attendees can explore a popup shop from 7:30 to 9 p.m., when unique clothing and artwork will be available for purchase.
The Entertainment Business Club called the event a” vibrant celebration of Penn State’s artistic community,”
“This event aims to foster collaboration among students across disciplines—including Arts and Architecture, Communications and Business—while enhancing community pride and creativity,” according to the club.
Tickets — $13 for adults and $5 for students and children — can be purchased online or at The State Theatre box office.
