A Place with Purpose
Muddy Paws Marsh is a testament to the power of restoration and community partnership. Once drained for agriculture, the wetland has been carefully revitalized and is now permanently protected, providing critical habitat for wildlife and educational opportunities for thousands of visitors each year.
With Pennsylvania having lost more than half of its original wetlands, events like Frogfest highlight the vital role these ecosystems play in improving water quality, supporting biodiversity and strengthening community well-being.
