A State College area farmers market is ready to kick off its 2025 season this weekend, joining the annual lineup of places to get fresh, local produce, meats, baked goods and more.
The North Atherton Farmers Market will ring its opening bell on Saturday morning in the Home Depot parking lot at 2615 Greentech Drive. It will operate 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through Nov. 8.
A producer-only market, the NAFM features only vendors who sell products they have personally grown, raised or crafted.
“Shoppers can expect a diverse selection of fresh produce, meats, dairy, baked goods, specialty foods, and handmade items from local farmers and artisans,” NAFM wrote in a news release. “The market’s commitment to supporting local agriculture and providing fresh, high-quality products has made it a favorite among community members.”
Thirty vendors will be on hand for Saturday’s opening day. For a full list of vendors and weekly updates, visit the NAFM’s website, Facebook page or Instagram account.
