A parade featuring more than 1,000 participants kicked off the festivities in the morning, traveling through downtown and ending at the parklet. A festival followed throughout the afternoon, with remarks from Grand Marshal Erica Deuso, mayor of Downingtown and Pennsylvania’s first openly transgender mayor, along with local music, theater, drag performances, art, food and family activities.
