Centre County reported 43 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday to bring its total to 12,753, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Pennsylvania added 2,786 cases, bringing its total to 920,634.
The county also had 94 additional negative test results, increasing its total to 60,737. Across Pennsylvania there were 9,323 new negatives for a total of 3,843,793.
DOH reported no new deaths attributed to the virus among Centre County residents, keeping the county’s total at 208.
With 76 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Pennsylvania’s total is now 23,787.
Mount Nittany Medical Center is currently treating 14 COVID-19 inpatients, four fewer than on Tuesday. The patients range in age from 19 to 88, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Across Pennsylvania, 1,972 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, including 433 in intensive care and 239 on ventilators.
An estimated 90% of COVID-19 patients in the state have recovered, per a health department calculation.
A total of 22,644 people in Centre County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, including 6,190 who are fully covered with both required doses, according to health department data.
Among Pennsylvania’s total cases, 792,702 are confirmed and 127,932 are probable. In Centre County, 11,747 are confirmed and 1,006 are probable.
