Centre County reported 68 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday to bring its total to 12,710, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Pennsylvania added 2,830 cases, bringing its total to 917,848.
The county also had 199 additional negative test results, increasing its total to 60,643. Across Pennsylvania there were 7,311 new negatives for a total of 3,834,470.
DOH reported no new deaths attributed to the virus among Centre County residents, keeping the county’s total at 208.
With 97 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Pennsylvania’s total is now 23,711.
Mount Nittany Medical Center is currently treating 18 COVID-19 inpatients, one more than on Monday. The patients range in age from 19 to 84, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Across Pennsylvania, 1,963 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, including 418 in intensive care and 240 on ventilators.
An estimated 89% of COVID-19 patients in the state have recovered, per a health department calculation.
A total of 21,899 people in Centre County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, including 6,022 who are fully covered with both required doses, according to health department data.
