Election 2023: Centre Region Townships

C-NET hosted interviews with candidates in several Centre County, municipal and school board races for the Nov. 7 election. Featured here are interviews with candidates for the governing bodies in the five Centre Region Townships.

Voters in the 2023 election will select members of municipal governing bodies, including in the Centre Region townships of College, Ferguson, Halfmoon, Harris and Patton.

COLLEGE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL

Three seats on the five-member College Township Council are up for election this year, with three candidates on the ballot. Council members are elected to four-year terms.

FERGUSON TOWNSHIP AT-LARGE SUPERVISOR

The Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors is composed of three supervisors elected by ward and two elected at large. One at-large seat with a two-year interim term is up for election in 2023, with two candidates on the ballot.
