Dropkick Murphys will make a stop at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center as part of their 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Tour.
The Massachusetts-based Celtic punk greats’ March 8 show in State College will also include fellow punk veterans Pennywise, as well as Irish rock band The Scratch.
Tickets starting at $34.50 go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.
The tour kicks off Feb. 13 in San Jose and leads up to the band’s three-night St. Patrick’s Day weekend stand on their home turf in Boston.
Dropkick Murphys formed in 1996 and exploded into popular culture with “I’m Shipping Up to Boston,” a punk anthem based on lyrics by Woody Guthrie that was prominently featured in Martin Scorcese’s “The Departed” and became a sports stadium staple.
Known for its energetic live shows, the band has released 12 studio albums, including 2023’s “Okemah Rising.”
