A popular Happy Valley Improv show is back for another round, this time to raise money for community members in need.
“Improv Inferno” takes the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 11, in the Blue Brick Theatre, 209 W. Calder Way in State College
Five members of the company will perform live improv while consuming chicken nuggets dipped in spicy sauces, which get spicier as the night goes on.
“Each time we get to do this show is an opportunity to bring something different to the Blue Brick Theatre stage,” said Brenden Jeziorski, HVI company member and assistant business director. “You just don’t know how the heat will kick in, and that makes for some pretty incredible moments.”
The performance will benefit Helping Hands Pantry, with 20% of ticket proceeds donated to the local charity that eliminates the barriers connecting families in the State College Area School District community with resources and provides food, hygiene products and household items without having to go to the food bank.
