Contemporary Christian band MercyMe will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Bryce Jordan Center as part of its “Together Again” tour.
Tickets will start at $25 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 12.
MercyMe is best known for songs “I Can Only Imagine,” “Even If,” and “Greater.” Together since 1994, the group boasts a Billboard Music Award for Top Christian Group and several Grammy nominations. The band’s most recent album, “Always Only Jesus,” was released in October 2022.
State College will be the group’s second stop on its tour, as the band will kick off its journey on Oct. 6 in Binghamton, New York. MercyMe will be joined by fellow Christian artist Crowder and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Andrew Ripp.
The BJC is no stranger to the contemporary Christian music scene. The venue nearly always hosts the Winter Jam for a stop on its annual tour in February and recently served as a stop on Casting Crowns’ most recent tour.
