State police at Rockview are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 77-year-old Centre County man.
Leon Bowman, of Howard, “may be at special risk of harm or injury, or may be confused,” according to a Missing Endangered Person Advisory issued on Wednesday.
Search efforts on Wednesday discovered that Bowman had last been seen between noon and 4 p.m. Monday near his mailbox on Howard Divide Road, according to police and a Facebook post by Howard Fire Company. He was previously last seen at about 11 a.m. on Dec. 16 in the area of Bowman Camp Road, the initial MEPA stated.
Bowman is described as 6 feet tall, balding with gray hair and a beard and has brown eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact state police at Rockview at 814-355-7545
