A Bellefonte man has died after a crash on Friday afternoon in Spring Township, police said on Tuesday.
Andrew Swarm, 76, died from injuries sustained in the two-vehicle crash, which occurred just after noon on Friday on the 1000 block of Blanchard Street, Spring Township police wrote in a Facebook post.
Swarm and the driver of the other vehicle, a 31-year-old Bellefonte woman, were both taken to UPMC Altoona in critical condition, police said on Friday. The woman’s current condition was not made available.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Blanchard Street was closed for about three hours on Friday afternoon for crash reconstruction.
