The Borough of State College is hosting several sessions to help residents understand the 2017 budget planning process and how they can get involved.
Budget staff will take part in a ”Budget for Breakfast’ informational session at 7:30 a.m. Friday at the New Leaf Initiative, located in the suite 337 of the State College Municipal Building at 243 S. Allen St. The meeting will include of a brief introduction on the budget process and how individuals can involved followed by a question-and-answer session.
Budget 101 sessions will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 and noon on Sept. 9 in the Municipal Building.
More informational sessions will be held leading up to the presentation of the draft 2017 operating budget to Borough Council in late October.
