U.S. Sen. Bob Casey will make a campaign stop on Wednesday at Penn State, joining with local Democratic candidates for a get-out-the-vote rally.

Casey will be joined by congressional candidate Marc Friedenberg, state Senate candidate Ezra Nanes and other local Democratic leaders at 11 a.m. in Room 129 of the HUB-Robeson Center.

Registration to attend can be found here.

The senior senator from Pennsylvania, Casey is seeking his third term in Washington. He is running against Republican challenger and four-term Congressman Rep. Lou Barletta of Hazleton.

Friedenberg, of Ferguson Township, is challenging incumbent Tom Marino, R-Williamsport, in the new 12th Congressional District. Marino is currently serving his fourth term in the House. Friedenberg is an attorney and an instructor at Penn State.

The 12th District includes portions of Bradford, Centre, Clinton, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Northumberland, Perry, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, and Wyoming counties. In Centre County it includes Ferguson Township, State College, Harris Township, College Township, part of Halfmoon Township and the Penns Valley area.

Nanes, of State College, is looking to unseat incumbent Sen. Jake Corman, R-Benner Township, in Pennsylvania’s 34th Senate District. Corman, the Senate majority leader, is seeking his sixth term in office. Nanes is director of business development at AccuWeather.

The 34th District includes all of Centre, Juniata and Mifflin counties and part of Huntingdon County.
